MORE THAN A DECADE SEARCHING FOR EXCELLENCE
REVOLUTIONARY DRYING SYSTEM WITHOUT EMISSIONS, HIGH EFFICIENCY, 100% INFRARED RADIATION AS AN ALTERNATIVE TO DRYING BY COMBUSTION WITH CO2, NOX EMISSION, NO NEED FOR A SINGULAR DEVICE PROJECT, NO LPG OR ERM NATURAL GAS TANKS.
Das Tech Solutions. Founded in 2013, for more than a decade it has developed drying equipment using infrared radiation, with a unique power control system on the market, which allows precise adjustment of power and temperature, making its processes efficient and low maintenance cost. But 2024 makes a difference, in terms of efficiency, performance and low maintenance.
The emission-free thermal drying system without the use of fossil fuels is a reality, 100% electric, and is already part of more and more industrial processes, with Das Tech being a benchmark and its main business base since 2013. Das Tech has several patents, both process and utility model patents.
Thanks to its patent PCT/ES2014/070742 and the international patent WO2016/001456 A1, companies that have contributed the most to extending this technology in the drying of materials, both laminar and bulk, slips and drying in general.
In digital decoration processes and also as an alternative where previously there was no precedent, only occupied by the use of fossil fuels, natural gas, propane, diesel and liquefied petroleum gases. Here Das Tech also covered the need for large formats and drying of bulk products.
By comparison, the modules manufactured by Das Tech can provide up to 50 kw/m2. And the heating and/or cooling time is only a few seconds, equivalent to almost 100 times the energy of the sun at sea level.
This type of equipment can be used in PREHEATING, but also in POSTHEATING, which is to let the heat energy finish an evaporation process, often it is not necessary to exceed 100ºC, as evaporation does not involve boiling and the objective is to remove traces of moisture, and in certain processes to accelerate the crosslinking processes of adhesives and resins, increasing the crosslinking of the bonds.
CERAMIC ROLLER FOR ROLLER KILN
New movement systems allow more efficient results, and less critical points due to high temperatures, which can reach 450ºC. This is why Das Tech has developed the use of ceramic rollers, which are widely used in the ceramic industry and which are not used in other sectors due to the lack of suitable traction systems.
This type of roller has unbeatable characteristics, as it has the highest resistance to thermal shock on the market. In addition, the ease of disassembly and cleaning with a mechanical cleaning system makes it ideal for primers, sealants and engobes applications.
Hyper-technical roller, it guarantees excellent material support for the production of all types of tiles, from 3 to 20 mm thick. It is highly resistant to thermal shock, which facilitates maintenance operations.
The ceramic roller allows the transport and handling of laminar materials of different thicknesses, including corrugated materials.
Technical characteristics roller F5-NG
AL203 78-80
SIO2 (%) 20-22
ZRO2 (%) 4
Water absorption 6-7
Porosity 14-18
Bending strength Mpa 60
Working temperature ºC 1350
Elasticity module ≥120
Density ≥2,5
The possibility of smooth or spiral rollers can be an alternative for special materials.
High-performance rollers with technical characteristics are available:
AL₂0₂0₃ TITRATION: 77%.
APPARENT DENSITY kg/dm³: 2.90
APPARENT POROSITY: 15%.
WATER ABSORBED: 5% M.O.E.: 20°.
M.O.E. 20°C˂: 115 GPA
COEFFICIENT OF THERMAL EXPANSION: 5.0*(K-1 10-6)
MAXIMUM EXTERNAL Ø mm: 65
This does not prevent them from being used to produce demanding materials such as technical porcelain at working temperatures of more than 1220°C and loads of up to 54 kg/m2. In addition, they are surprisingly resistant to chemical attack.
HOT AIR RECOVERY
An important feature is the recovery of hot air for the reuse of this energy, achieving more efficiency in the drying process and less electricity consumption, which means an economic saving in the process.
An extractor extracts the hot air from the kiln and sends it to a suction collector pipe to which 8 blowing pipes are connected, which push the air recovered from the kiln and reintroduce it into the kiln through the lower part via the blowing nozzles.
Das Tech, a Valencian technology-based company located in Castellón, develops drying equipment and technology for a wide variety of sectors. It has different process patents and utility models, which protect the models it manufactures and distributes worldwide.
DEWATERING OF BULK PRODUCTS
Development in dehydration of bulk products, sludge, slurries, chemical processes or waste from industrial processes for management or recycling, where inertisation, reduction of microbial load, etc. is required.
Drying of bulk products using Das Tech radiant modules. They allow drying of products with high water content.
This is a process that has been awarded as R&D, prototype for dehydration of sludge and Barbotines with an IVACE funded by the European Union and has been justified as a novelty.
