- Vision system – Cutting line feed
- 5-head bridge cutter.
- Cutting Disc Wear Monitoring System – Retractable Pneumatic Sensors
- Motorised rotating belt cutting table.
- Motorised output belt table.

MOTORISED INLET ROLLER TABLE
Motorised roller feed table, specially reinforced for slabs of variable thickness.
Can be loaded either by an overhead crane or a forklift truck.
It incorporates hydraulic cylinders that allow the slabs to be aligned

Vision System – Cutting Line Infeed
1. Operation:
When a slab of stone is detected, the image acquisition cycle is activated via the vision system. The captured image is initially saved to a temporary file. After being used to calculate the cutting layout and generate cutting paths, the image is transferred to the image database for traceability and historical storage.
2. Image Processing:
• The captured image is displayed on the HMI on the cutting layout screen.
• The cutting layout pattern is superimposed onto this image. The operator can manipulate it (translation and rotation) to ensure precise alignment before confirming its transmission to the cutting system.

MOTORISED ROTATING BELT CUTTING TABLE
Specially reinforced motorised rotating belt cutting table, with oversized, large-diameter drums to provide greater traction
It incorporates position and rotation encoders for absolute control of both longitudinal and transverse cuts
The design of the rotary table with dual forward and reverse travel for both longitudinal and transverse cutting allows for greater precision in the alignment of the cuts.

It incorporates a hydraulic brake and powerful, oversized gearboxes to handle the loads and movements of the sheet metal.
Cutting Disc Wear Monitoring System – Retractable Pneumatic Probes
1. General Operation:
The system features a measuring station equipped with retractable pneumatic probes, located outside the cutting area. The cutting discs move to this area before the measuring cycle begins.
Once the discs are positioned above the probes:
1. The probes extend via pneumatic cylinders controlled by the PLC.
2. The discs then descend until they make contact with the probes.
3. The stroke achieved by each probe is measured using analogue position sensors.
4. The system calculates the current wear on the disc and automatically adjusts its working height for subsequent cuts (self-regulation).
2. Integration with the Control System (PLC and HMI):
• The PLC coordinates the sequences for moving the discs, activating the probes and reading the sensors.
• The HMI displays the system status in real time:
o Current position of each disc.
o Detected wear level.
o Automatic adjustments applied.
o Alarms triggered when the wear limit is reached.
• Parameters such as wear thresholds or measurement frequency can be adjusted via the HMI.
3. Technical Specifications and Benefits:
• Retractable sensors: protected outside the cutting cycle, preventing wear or interference.
• Wear detection without direct electrical contact with the disc.
• Stroke sensors with precise readings.
• Automatic compensation ensuring a constant cutting depth.
• Improved productivity by avoiding unplanned downtime due to worn discs.
• Enhanced operational safety and traceability of the discs.

MOTORISED OUTFEED CONVEYOR TABLE
Motorised outfeed conveyor table, specially reinforced for slabs of varying thickness. With hydraulic forward and reverse movement. Wedge-type roller system allowing the closest possible approach to the turntable for material feed and separation from it for switching from the longitudinal to the cross-cut position.

BRIDGE CUTTER MODEL N.8000/900-5C
The N.8000/900-5C cutter is a machine with a robust and highly compact design, engineered to ensure users benefit from ease of operation, achieving high output and excellent cost-effectiveness.
Its highly precise mechanics and robust structure enable us to guarantee flawless operation, even under the harshest working conditions.
The cutting heads are very solidly built yet compact in size, thanks to the incorporation of a special low-profile 25 CV motor running at 1500 rpm, enabling them to work with blades up to 900 mm in diameter.
The cutting heads are guided along the bridge by high-precision linear guides, protected by rigid guards that prevent water and dust from entering the interior.
The cutting heads are guided by linear guides during the lifting movement, and the drive is provided by a rolled ball screw driven by a worm gear motor.
Movement along the running rails is achieved via a combined system of linear guides and support rollers, driven by two mechanically synchronised rack-and-pinion assemblies to prevent any possible misalignment. The entire running rail assembly is covered by PVC bellows.
In terms of the electrical system, it is worth noting the inclusion of frequency converters, some of which allow the disc speed to be adjusted independently, whilst others control the speeds simultaneously.
The electrical control panel incorporates PLCs that manage all signal inputs and outputs, as well as controlling the frequency converters, to ensure that starts and stops are smooth and precise. The programme incorporated into the PLC has been developed and fine-tuned by our technical team to simplify the operation and programming of the cutter as much as possible.

NODOSAFER: MULTIWIRES-CUTTING LINES AND ROBOTS
April, 2025
July 2022
With the continued objective of satisfying the needs of customers at all times, NODOSAFER expands its family of products with the start-up of the new 1.40 m multi-wire units. and 1.60 m. cutting width. The first corresponds to the model N6515.20/1400 installed in the company GRANITOS IRMAOS PEIXOTO, LDA in ALPENDURADA (PORTUGAL). The second is the N6860/60 model installed at the CARRIERES DU BUGEY company in PORCIEU-AMBLAGNIEU in the FRENCH ALPS.
The N6815.20/1400 model is a versatile 20-wire machine with a cutting width of 1.40 m. This machine meets all the expectations generated after its design and the results of speed and cutting quality are highly satisfactory.
Its speed and ease in changing the thickness measurements to be cut or the placement or removal of wires makes it an essential tool for customers who want a high production of material.

N6815.20/1400 in IRMAOS PEIXOTO GRANITES, LDA - PORTUGAL
The N6860/60 model contains 60 lines with a cutting width of 1.60 m. and thanks to the STA (Active Tensioning System) we have achieved equally remarkable results in cutting marble and limestone from this French region. The INDIVIDUAL automatic control of each wire at each of the cutting moments in the block ensures that the slabs have a perfect finish for subsequent treatment, always with speeds much higher than what was previously on the market.

N6860/60 working in the FRENCH ALPS – CARRIERES DU BUGEY
They are two models that complement the range of multiwire equipment and that currently range from 15 to 80 wires with block cutting widths of 1.00-1.20-1.40-1.60 and 2.00 mt. for 7.3-6.3 and 5.3 mm wires for granite, marble and limestone.
Soon we will present news in our section on robotics applied to natural stone and our cutting lines
NODOSAFER presents its new multifunction robot
June 2021
One of the latest projects of our R + D + i department, a robot programmed to carry out different tasks within the same factory, which allows a very high productivity compared to traditional means of work.
The same robot is capable of producing curbs of any type (miter, polish, with a greater or lesser angle and cutting length, different finishes depending on the tool to be used, flamed, etc.).
Likewise, the installation of a linear track allows the transfer of the manufactured parts from the stockage that we define on different pallets to the next treatment machine, in this case a shot blasting machine.
In the accompanying video, the times are shown in the case of the factory in question.
The savings in time, personnel, handling, and transportation make this a very profitable investment, not for the future, but for the present.
