The Spanish company Southern Quarries, which owns several quarries in África and Brazil, is proud to present two new exclusive materials, LUMINOUS and CANHIMEI.
LUMINOUS
Luminous is a dolomitic marble from Angola. One of the characteristics of the Luminous is the variation in background tone from pure white to grayish tones, with an irregular distribution of serpentine veins in green and yellowish tones. The blocks of this stone are available in big and small sizes. This exclusive marble is available in limited quantities. The blocks sometimes have to be strengthened in the processing units and the slabs always need to be strengthened. It can be used for any application that is typical of marble.
CANHIMEI
CANHIMEI is a unique serpentillized marble originally from Angola. Its unusual aesthetics means the tones of the material can vary from dark to light green. Thanks to its marked linear design, we can propose two different patterns depending on the cutting direction, crosscut or vein cut. This quarry has a limited production capacity, due to the peculiarities of this formation. The blocks of CANHIMEI are always strengthened as are the slabs of this unique marble. The blocks are available in both big and small sizes.
