The Xiamen Stone Fair 2026 edition was held on the dates 16 to 19 March against the backdrop of the Gulf war and, as expected, the cancellations of many flights from the Middle East and Europe led to a significant decline in visitors from abroad.
The fair, once again, was a demonstration of greater effort made by Chinese companies in highlighting design in stone, now that the construction boom in the country is over since a few years ago. Another trend becoming clear- more people, Chinese or foreigners, are to seen in the machinery and accessories section, where just about every possible equipment needed in the stone industry is displayed.
